Grand Lake's Favorite Pianist, Terry Jordan, will present the songs of Frank Sinatra on Saturday and Sunday March 14-15 in Grove's Playmaker Theatre, 121 W.3rd Street. From "New York, New York" to "Chicago" to "My Kind of Town", this show will be packed with reminiscent melodies from 1940 through 1980.
Sinatra's career spanned the last half of the 20th Century and his popularity lives on today. The legendary crooner held audiences captive with famed favorites from stage and screen, country and pop, big band and standards such as "Mac the Knife." Mr. Jordan, along with surprise special guest stars, will revive this by-gone era with vocal and piano renditions of over 40 Sinatra songs in the 2-hour stage show.
After years of recording and performing across the Midwest, on Branson stages, and stints in Mexico, fans are eager for Jordan's return to the stage and this concert promises to create a big splash following a 4-year hiatus from show productions. The Saturday evening curtain is at 8 pm and the Sunday matinee at 2 pm.
Tickets are $19 in advance, $25 at the door and are available through The Playmakers. Call 1-918-786-8950 or email: 1groveplaymakers@sbcglobal.net.
