8 p.m. St. Michael's College’s Schola Cantorum and The Musicians In Ordinary celebrate the feast day of St. Michael with the 18th century Polychoral Mass in D by Ignacio de Jerusalem, an important figure in the Mexican Baroque. The concert also features a symphony by Jerusalem and lively villancicos (Spanish language devotional songs). The performance dovetails with the Global Reformations Conference at the University of Toronto, marking the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
