Tales of an Urban Indian, written by Darrell Dennis, is a dark comedy featuring Simon, a contemporary Indigenous man navigating life between the reserve and the big city. The play, staged on a moving city bus, allows audiences to witness Simon's journey through various characters portrayed by a single actor. Nolan Moberly returns to reprise the role of Simon for the Barrie run, alongside past performers including Jonathan Fisher, Craig Lauzon, and Ryan Cunningham, with a special presentation celebrating its 750th performance on October 10. Directed by Herbie Barnes, this production reflects TIFT's commitment to connecting diverse audiences with meaningful storytelling.
