Poitu Varen, curated by Kalaisan Kalaichelvan, is an immersive concert experience that explores themes of legacy, loss, and renewal through sound. The performance features Chris Pruden on four pianos, Zoe Markle on double bass, and Nick Walker Grimshaw on electronics, inviting the audience into the heart of the performance with seating arranged around the instruments. Inspired by Anne Carson’s "The Anthropology of Water," the concert employs a unique setup with projected text to create a dialogue between objects, performers, and the audience. Following the performance, there will be a discussion and Q&A with the artists.
