The Canadian Opera Company presents its first-ever production of Nabucco, a compelling opera that intertwines themes of ambition, love, and resilience. Soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams makes her debut as Abigaille, the complex daughter determined to seize her father’s throne. British baritone Roland Wood takes on the role of Nabucco, while rising stars Rihab Chaieb and Matthew Cairns portray Fenena and Ismaele. Conducted by Paolo Carignani, this grand opera features a cast of over 120 performers, promising a breathtaking spectacle.
