Macbeth, directed by Robert Lepage, brings a fresh interpretation of Shakespeare’s tragedy, reimagining it within the context of Quebec’s biker culture. The play explores themes of ambition and corruption, as Macbeth, driven by ambition and supernatural omens, descends into tyranny after committing heinous acts. Lepage's innovative vision promises to illuminate the dark consequences of unchecked ambition and the perils of moral decay. This production will run from April 17 to September 10 at the Avon Theatre as part of the Stratford Festival's 2025 season.
