Les Violons du Roy, led by conductor Jonathan Cohen, features acclaimed soprano Karina Gauvin and contralto Marie-Nicole Lemieux in an all-Handel program titled Streams of Pleasure. The performance highlights selections from six of Handel's major oratorios, showcasing the artists' mastery of Baroque music. Both Gauvin and Lemieux bring their unique vocal talents and extensive experience to this significant concert at The Royal Conservatory of Music. This event marks an opportunity to experience the traditional elegance and emotional depth of Handel's compositions.
