Grease the Musical at The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre

Return to an era of pink ladies and slicked back hair with Grease the Musical, live in Toronto! The 2017 production that captivated audiences returns to Toronto’s historic Winter Garden Theatre for another limited run Thursday, May 24th, 2018.

Preview tickets will be available through an exclusive presale to the production’s Facebook fans Tuesday, April 3rd at www.facebook.com/greasetoronto for a 20% discount. Preview tickets are valid for performances between May 24 – May 30. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, April 6th at greaseonstage.com/tickets/.

After a 2017 run that saw packed houses and ecstatic audiences for over three months, the production was forced to close for upgrades to the Winter Garden Theatre. 55,000 audience members saw Grease the Musical this fall, and producers David Galpern, John Kelly and Charles Roy believe this signals that there is a place in Canada for their new theatre company. Hundreds of Facebook fans petitioned for the show’s return using the hashtag #BringGreaseBack. Grease’s May 24th return wouldn’t be possible without these fans who made their love for the show known - some who saw the show during its run, and others who didn’t yet get the chance.

This thrilling production, created by internationally acclaimed Broadway choreographer and director Josh Prince returns Grease to the streets of 1950s Chicago and incorporates the most beloved songs from the 1978 film in breathtaking new arrangements from Las Vegas icon Phil Burton of Human Nature.

With a world-class cast assembled by casting directors Robert Ulrich (Fox’s GLEE) and Larissa Mair (CBC’s Degrassi High), Grease the Musical is thrilled to welcome back returning cast members Ben Camerzuli (Roger), Hailey Lewis (Jan), Darcy Stewart (Cha Cha), Sarah Vance (Patty / Dance Captain), Stephanie Pitsiladis (Miss Lynch), Michael DeRose (Teen Angel/Vince Fontaine), Kirstyn Russelle (Ensemble) and Michele Shuster (Swing / Assistant Dance Captain) to the stage to honor the vision of original writers Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.
