Cheap Wine presents their brand new comedy show NICKNAME: The Documentary. It’s a live show about a documentary film. Have you ever had a nickname you just couldn’t shake? Did it become your whole identity and consume your entire life and change how you looked at yourself and the world and everyone in it? There will be drama. There will be tears and breakups and death and existential crises. It's a sketch comedy show! It's Cheap Wine: it's better when you don't quite know what it is.
ABOUT CHEAP WINE:
Cheap Wine is family. For real, they are in-laws. As in they spend holidays together and two of them have the same parents and two of them have a prenup. "The perfect mix of deadpan and whackadoodle". Try to figure out who is what to who, how much is based on real-life events, and if spending this much time together is healthy.
Cheap Wine is Jack Creaghan, Jess McQueen & Charlotte Creaghan. They were the winners of the Sketchiest Sketch Troupe Award at Toronto Sketchfest 2023, and performed their very first 90-minute comedy revue IS IT JUICE? to sold-out audiences at The Assembly Theatre. They've been seen on stages around Toronto, at Montréal Sketchfest 2023 + 2022, at TO Sketchfest “One Live Show” 2022, and on-screen in various festivals with their award-winning digital comedy.
