Jean-Paul Sartre.

Inspired by Punch and Judy shows and riddled with vaudevillian antics, this production ofThe Killing Game offers a fresh, funny and at times scathing treatment of our society. From our growing fears of global annihilation and the threat of war, to our basest fears of disease and death, is a timely and must-see show.
Following the appearance of a mysterious Black Monk and the arrival of a devastating plague, a once gossipy burg quickly dissipates into packs of angry mobs, hypocrisy, crass opportunism, and arrant selfishness. Tragedy blends with the hilariously absurd. Clichés bend to controversy, as audiences bear witness to the extremes these citizens will go to in order to ensure their own survival. Only one thing is certain: there will be death.
The Killing Game is directed and choreographed by Rosanna Saracino, with additional choreography by Melanie Windle, original music by Micky Myers and Luke Letourneau, lighting design by B
Ryan Steele, costumes by Katrina Carrier and Rosanna Saracino, fight direction by Nate Bitton and features a cast of 18 incredibly talented performers, some emerging, some who have garnered recent acclaim on stages in Toronto and across Canada.
