YPT Presents Inventive, Interactive Play, The 26 LETTER DANCE Image

Young People's Theatre (YPT) will welcome back Montreal's Bouge de là and their inventive, interactive show, The 26 Letter Dance. Presented on the Mainstage, February 26 to March 16, this bold and playful work inspires kids to dance to the beat of their own drum - based on the alphabet!

Choreographer Hélène Langevin takes us on a journey through the world of letters and words in a unique experience where children not only see a dance production but actively participate in the various tableaux that punctuate the piece. The 26 Letter Dance expands the frontiers of performance for young audiences and turns the conventions of theatre inside out. It's contemporary and poetic - and just great fun!

Directed by Hélène Langevin, The 26 Letter Dance features Ariane Boulet, Joannie Douville, Alexandre Parenteau and Georges-Nicolas Tremblay.

Co-choreographed by Hélène Langevin and Jean-François Légaré with Guest Choreographers Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, Menka Nagrani and Manuel Roque; Costume Design by Marilène Bastien; Set Design by Richard Lavoix; Music by Bernard Falaise; Lighting Design by Caroline Ross; Stage Management by Guy Fortin.
