Broken Soil Theatre presents The Year and Two of Us Back Here at the 2018 Hamilton Fringe Festival
Five holidays. Two people. One weird year in the back room of the world's worst hat store. From Hamilton's Broken Soil Theatre comes the premiere of a brand new play by Michael Kras, Hamilton playwright and winner of the prestigious Herman Voaden National Playwriting Prize.
Rain and Isaac spend their year together working at the worst hat store in Hamilton and probably the world. Both at their own desperate yearning standstills, they struggle to overcome themselves and find meaningful connection while struggling to sell overpriced headwear. From the award-winning Broken Soil Theatre comes a funny, emotional love letter to loneliness, longing, and losing.
"A remarkable play about the unremarkable." - Emily Hageman, playwright and educator
