Over 70 years since its inception, the UofT Drama Festival, now in its 19th year since its revival, continues to serve as a showcase for up and coming theatrical talent. This year marks the 10th Annual Festival which only showcases student written works. All productions are student directed, acted and produced, making the festival an ideal platform for students to display their talents on the historic Hart House Theatre stage.
This year's festival will be adjudicated by William B. Davis, who is best known for playing the iconic Cigarette Smoking Man on The X-Files. Beyond the X-Files he has had an illustrious career appearing in dozens of other television shows, major motion pictures and stage productions all over the world. Aside from his acting career, he is an accomplished Director and Educator, making him the perfect fit to adjudicate this year's festival. Mr. Davis currently owns and is the General Director of the William Davis Centre for Actors Study, and was the former Artistic Director of the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School and of The National Theatre School.
