The Hotline Always Blings Twice is an all-new comedy show in the legendary tradition of The Second City and "that can only mean one thing": a night of unforgettable characters, supremely funny sketches and ridiculous rants. Nothing is sacred and everything is hilarious as the Mainstage cast members use satirical social commentary to skewer everyday subjects such as binge-watching and the Blue Jays bandwagon.
The Hotline Always Blings Twice is created and performed by The Second City Toronto Mainstage cast members Leigh Cameron, Kyle Dooley, Becky Johnson, Etan Muskat, Kirsten Rasmussen and Kevin Whalen.
The 77th Mainstage Revue is directed by The Second City alumnus Chris Earle, and assistant to the director Karen Parker. Meg Maguire and Christina Cicko return as stage manager and lighting designer respectively, while The Hotline Always Blings Twice marks the Mainstage debut of musical director Lee Cohen.
The Hotline Always Blings Twice is dedicated to the memory Len Stuart, co-chairman and co-owner of The Second City Inc. since 1978, who passed away on February 21, 2016.
