The Second City Announces New Mainstage and Touring Company Casts

The Second City Toronto is proud to announce an exciting new Mainstage cast for the 79th Mainstage Revue, opening Tuesday, March 14, 2017. For the next show Paloma Nuñez (Baroness Von Sketch Show), Devon Hyland (Get Sick Die Trying) and Colin Munch (Uncalled For) will join returning Mainstage cast members Ann Pornel (The Flirty Boys), Brandon Hackett (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Lindsay Mullan (Loose Moose Theatre Company). Second City Mainstage alumnus Kerry Griffin (The Beaverton) will direct the 79th Mainstage Revue.

The title of the 79th Mainstage Revue will be announced in February 2017. In addition to the cast, the company includes assistant to the director Joel Buxton, with musical director Lee Cohen and stage manager Meg Maguire.

The Second City Touring Company (TourCo) will feature Josh Murray (Songbuster), Greg Cochrane (The Sketchersons), Allana Reoch (Panacea!), Nadine Djoury (Newborn Moms), Aimee Ambroziak (Superdude and Doctor Rude), and Sharjil Rasool (Odd Squad).

The Second City TourCo, which performs numerous shows across Canada year-round, and The Best of The Second City on the MainStage in Toronto, will be directed by The Second City Mainstage alumna Carly Heffernan, with musical director Jordan Armstrong and stage manager Nat Moore.

The Fall 2016 Mainstage Revue, Come What Mayhem, continues with performances until February 4, 2017.
