The Lighthouse Troupe Present THE 6TH DEGREE Image

Thursday, May 9th / 2002; The body of 30 year old Chloe Traeger was found brutally murdered in the basement of her own home through what appeared to be some kind of sinister sacrificial ceremony. As an officer of the Hastings County Police, it is up to you and your partner to talk to, question, and interrogate these 6 suspects in order to decipher not only the truth of this complex and harrowing crime, but determine who exactly is the most culpable of the murder of Chloe Traeger.

The Lighthouse Troupe is a Canadian collective that produces experiential site-specific and interactive theatre, specializing in independent and highly improvised works that challenge the medium of live performance. The 6th Degree is being performed at the historic Campbell House Museum to an audience of 16 people each performance. In this site-specific interactive theatre experience, The 6th Degree showcases the amazing ingenuity that the Toronto theatre scene has to offer. Audience members play an integral role in the narrative of the show, and no two performances will be the same. Audience members will interact directly with the actors, playing an integral role in the molding of the narrative. The 6th Degree makes a statement to the rest of the Toronto theatre landscape, proving that our experiential style is on the cutting edge of the performing arts.

"When it comes to making a connection with an audience," says Managing and Artistic Director Ryan Boulet, "we're certain that all it takes is someone willing to shed light on a format not yet previously explored, and with the passion we're harbouring, we know we can be that difference."

The 6th Degree will open at the Campbell House Museum at 160 Queen St W, at the northwest corner of Queen and University. The show opens at 6:00pm on Wednesday May 23, 2018. The show continues on May 24-29, May 30-Jun 1, and will close Saturday June 2, 2018.

The 6th Degree is being performed at the Campbell House Museum, which is a vibrant public space where members of Toronto's diverse communities gather to discuss, to create, to perform and to socialize, giving life to the words "freedom of expression." The museum maintains its link to the administration of justice by serving as an important meeting and debating place for lawyers and the judiciary. The museum acquires and preserves artefacts related to Chief Justice William Campbell's life and times, and to Campbell House's ongoing history. The museum informs and inspires visitors through its history, collections, and unique context in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Tickets will be sold at $25 for General Admission. Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3396243 or in person at the door.
