The Lighthouse Troupe is a Canadian collective that produces experiential site-specific and interactive theatre, specializing in independent and highly improvised works that challenge the medium of live performance. The 6th Degree is being performed at the historic Campbell House Museum to an audience of 16 people each performance. In this site-specific interactive theatre experience, The 6th Degree showcases the amazing ingenuity that the Toronto theatre scene has to offer. Audience members play an integral role in the narrative of the show, and no two performances will be the same. Audience members will interact directly with the actors, playing an integral role in the molding of the narrative. The 6th Degree will open at the Campbell House Museum at 160 Queen St W, at the northwest corner of Queen and University. The show opens at 6:00pm on Wednesday May 23, 2018. The show continues on May 24-29, May 30-Jun 1, and will close Saturday June 2, 2018.
The 6th Degree is being performed at the Campbell House Museum, which is a vibrant public space where members of Toronto's diverse communities gather to discuss, to create, to perform and to socialize, giving life to the words "freedom of expression." The museum maintains its link to the administration of justice by serving as an important meeting and debating place for lawyers and the judiciary. The museum acquires and preserves artefacts related to Chief Justice William Campbell's life and times, and to Campbell House's ongoing history. The museum informs and inspires visitors through its history, collections, and unique context in the heart of downtown Toronto.Media:
