The Grand London is Holding Sing to Win Contest - Karaoke Style!

Do you love music and karaoke? Think you have what it takes to be a star? Enjoy rocking out to hits from the 50's, 60's and 70's? Then this contest may be exactly what you are looking for. The Grand London is proud to be bringing "Legends" (the sequel to the very popular musical Twist and Shout: The British Invasion) to London from April 20th - May 22nd. Billed as a high energy musical showcase, the production will feature music from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sonny and Cher, Chuck Berry, Stevie Wonder and The Everly Brothers.
In anticipation of the show, The Grand is holding a "Sing to Win" contest with help from Greatest Hits 103.9FM. The contest will allow people to come out on two separate days for a giant karaoke contest to showcase their singing abilities and be entered for a chance to win A Grand Theatre Legends VIP Contest Package which will include four front row seats to the opening night performance of Legends, limousine transportation and a backstage meet and greet with performers from the show.
In order to participate people must pre-register at www.1039fm.ca and eight participants will be selected to dress up and perform their favourite song from the show. Between April 12th and 16th listeners will be asked to vote for their favourite performance and the winner will be announced the morning of April 19th on McArthur in the Morning.
Twist and Shout: The British Invasion as a great success in London with audience members and critics alike raving about how much fun it was. Legends is shaping up to be just as much fun, and the karaoke content is just the beginning. Register to win and have some fun in the process, singing hit songs that are too enjoyable to ever be forgotten.
