The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (TOsketchfest) proudly announces the first wave of programming for the 2019 festival with appearances by Sasheer Zamata, and Scott Thompson with The Buddy Cole Monologues at The Great Hall.
On March 8-9, 2019, comedian, actress and writer Sasheer Zamata will grace the stage of Longboat Hall for two evenings of stand-up. Sasheer Zamata was a cast member on Saturday Night Live for four seasons, in addition to her appearances on Transparent, Inside Amy Schumer, People Of Earth and more.
Lounge lizard Buddy Cole, AKA Scott Thompson from Kids in the Hall, will return to the limelight on March 14, 2019, for an evening of humorous, pointed, and matter-of-fact monologues. The Buddy Cole Monologues will include the best of Buddy Cole and his latest rants and reviews.
TOsketchfest will welcome over 80 sketch comedy acts from cities across North America and beyond March 7-17, 2019. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming months.
