Give yourself over to absolute pleasure! The Stratford Festival's production of The Rocky Horror Show has been extended to November 25 - the second extension of this year's hit rock musical!
"Demand for Rocky Horror has been tremendous," says Executive Director Anita Gaffney. "The show dishes out 'delicious nostalgia' as the New York Times said - and people are absolutely loving it. Many of them are coming back to see it multiple times - our biggest super-fan has been more than 20 times and there are others seeking to outdo her! This production is like a rock concert, musical and drag cabaret all rolled into one. It really is like nothing else you've been to before. The audiences have a wild time and so do our actors and musicians. It's a real party in the theatre."
The Festival is also extending the run of Shakespeare's Coriolanus for the second time.
"The production has received international acclaim," says Gaffney, "and we are delighted to be able to provide more opportunities to see it. We hope more and more people will follow Kelly Nestruck's advice in The Globe and Mail and travel 'down the highway, across the country or, indeed, around the world' to see it."
