'Please Stay' tells the all-consuming tragic tale of two longtime lovers forced into a long distance relationship which ultimately fails when one of the lovers no longer wants to fight for their love. As if with the sudden force of an immense wave, the full orchestra floods the arrangement with an almost hopeful swell only to abruptly abandon Klark, surrendering him to the depths of his loneliness. 'Please stay. Don't go. I can't fall asleep without the shape of you that I fit into.'

Francois Klark is a South-Africa born, Canadian Singer-Songwriter and Producer. His debut album 'LOVE' came out earlier this year, garnering much attention from music blogs around the globe. His songs have racked up nearly 1 million streams on Spotify and have been featured on numerous official playlists. Klark has worked on projects with Universal Music Group UK and has shared the stage with various artists including Grammy winner Jon Bellion, Ginuwine, Shawn Desman, Karl Wolf and Sebell.

This stirring symphonic adaptation of Klark's 'Please Stay', was arranged for orchestra by award-winning composer Kristjan Bergey. Bergey is a composer, producer, and saxophonist based in Toronto, Canada. He has written music for many television shows, including "Murdoch Mysteries" (CBC), "Wynonna Earp" (Space/SyFy), "Frankie Drake" (CBC), "Remedy" (Global), and "Cracked" (CBC). He also placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 2015 and 2016 editions of the FMF Young Talent Award, a highly acclaimed international orchestral-film-scoring competition based in Krakow, Poland.

With this release, Klark invites choreographers, dancers, and videographers from around the world to film and create their own visual interpretations to 'Please Stay (Extended Orchestral Version)' for a chance to win a $1000 cash prize. Visit francoisklark.com for information on how to enter.
