See the Sound of Music in Toronto and get a Great Dinner and Accomodation Package!

The Sound of Music is a critically acclaimed and much loved musical that has been around for decades.  The last musical to be produced by Rodgers and Hammerstein, the Sound of Music opened on Broadway in 1959 and became a smash-hit film starring Julie Andrews in 1965.  In 2008, a revival production was launched by Andrew Lloyd Webber in London, England. The winner, Elicia MacKenzie is currently playing the title role and is receiving rave reviews.  The runner-up  and fellow TV Maria Janna Polzin was cast as an "alternate", playing the role twice a week for the Wednesday evenings and Saturday matinees. 

When the Sound of Music opened in Toronto on October 3^rd, 2008 it received rave reviews.  It is one of those rare musical gems that appeals to all ages and is also age appropriate, something that the whole family can really enjoy together.  The Star proclaimed "This is the show we all ought to, need to, have to see right now.
