Second City Toronto Mainstage Adds New Member, Gears Up For Rousing All-New Sketch Revue In March Image

It's last call to catch the Second City's critically-acclaimed 81st sketch revue The Best Is Yet To Come Undone, which closes up shop on February 10 to make way for our 82nd Revue! The new show will stage its press opening on Tuesday, March 19.

The 82nd Revue is directed by Second City veteran Chris Earle (Sixteen Scandals, The Second City Guide to the Symphony), who received a Dora and Chalmers Award for his iconic stage production, Radio: 30. Our new revue stars Nadine Djoury (Newborn Moms), Stacey McGunnigle (Stacey Helps), Sharjil Rasool (MANTOWN), Allana Reoch (The Beaverton), and Chris Wilson (Royal Canadian Air Farce). And we're excited to introduce our newest Mainstage cast member: the Juno Award-nominated frontman of funk ensemble God Made Me Funky, PHATT al.

"Joining the Mainstage cast has been an amazing experience," notes Al, who previously turned heads as a member of the Second City National Touring Company. "And trust me when I say we're working on pushing creative and comedic boundaries in this upcoming show."
