Waiting for Godot

Set in WWII with deliberate overtones of the current quagmire in Iraq, Remain in Light's re-invention of the classic existential comedy Waiting for Godot is set to a soundtrack by seminal new wave band Joy Division and promises to shake up everything audiences thought they knew about Beckett!

House

Remain in Light presents Daniel MacIvor's acclaimed one man show that is more an intimate therapy session involving both actor Ryan Seeley and the audience, than it is a play.  House is the story of Victor; a man who by his own admission is losing his grip on reality.  With a sister who is in love with a dog, a love-interest who does not love him, a father who may be the saddest person in the world, and the recent discovery that his wife is a dominatrix who had his co-workers as her clients, Victor is not having a good day.

These shows alternate for a 5 week run starting August 11, 2008 at Paper Mill Theatre and Gallery, 67 Pottery Road, between Broadview and Bayview

House will run each Monday through Wednesday

Waiting for Godot will run each Thursday through Saturday

Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $25.00
