Last Thursday stars of Canadian film and television gathered together to celebrate the 2012 Genie Awards. Hosted by George Strombolopolous, the 32nd annual Genie Awards were held in the gorgeous Westin Harbour Castle and broadcast throughout Canada on CBC Television.
Many stars came out for the event, including a surprise appearance by Viggo Mortensen (who won Best Supporting Actor for his role in David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method) and Jason Priestly (returning to the stage in Toronto next year with Canadian Stage). BWW was thrilled to be on hand to bring its readers fabulous photos from the red carpet.
