Photo Coverage: Show Choir Canada National Championships 2012

The 2nd Annual Show Choir Canada National Championships took place last weekend at The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, ON. Thirteen high school choirs from all across Canada came out to perform and compete for the title of Show Choir Canada National Champion, which carries with it prestige and $20,000 in Yamaha products.
In two short years the Show Choir Canada Championships have become a must-see event, and have increased visibility and popularity for Glee Clubs across Canada. No doubt thanks to the hugely popular television show ‘GLEE', it's suddenly cool to sing in high school. Two Toronto schools were battling against each other this year, with The Etobicoke School of the Arts emerging victorious. 1st Place and Canada's Top Show Choir: Etobicoke School of the Arts "Splash" - 95.8
2nd Place - Wexford Collegiate "Wexford Glee" - 93.2
3rd Place - St. Peter CHS "SPSC" - 81.7
4th Place - Unionville "Synergy" - 78.8
5th Place - St. George's of Montreal "G Major" - 74.8
6th Place - York Mills Collegiate "Cheat Notes" - 73.8
