From the 19th arrondissement of Paris, 1919 is a fresh new theatre company that aims to bring contemporary, experimental theatre to a wide variety of audiences.
Their first show 25 is an original dark comedy, accidentally created by Elliot Delage as he re-discovered and assembled various scenes from his past.
25 follows twelve characters through their mid-twenties as they find themselves confronted with life changing situations, because 25 is not only an age, it is a crossroads. A crossroads between childhood and parenthood, school and career, growing old and staying young. 25 puts things into perspective at a time when, for better or for worse, things are changing.
They will be be performing at the Toronto Fringe Festival between July 4th and 15th before traveling to Hamilton, Charlottetown, Saint-John and Halifax.
