"Each evening at dusk, six people gather at the edge of the woods calling their dogs back – dogs that have turned wild.  Drawn together by need, this unlikely group forms a community – until violence strikes unexpectedly. An unforgettable story about the wild in all of us, " describe press notes

The production will star Tamara Podemski, Les Carlson, Steve Cumyn, Raven Dauda, Stephen Joffe, Tony Nappo and Taylor Trowbridge

Set & Costume Design is by Teresa Przybylski, lighting Design is by Kimberly Purtell, sound design is by Jennifer Gillmor

"It is not often that a script comes across my desk that excites me so much. It is one of the most daring and original texts I've seen in some time. So much theatricality and an array of brilliant characters told with naked gusto. Arrestingly honest with a profound message about love and our need to belong," describes Artistic Director, Kelly Thornton

Helen Humphreys and Nightwood Theatre pair up at this year's International Festival of Authors on Wednesday, October 29, 8:00pm at the Lakeside Terrace, Harbourfront Centre.  Helen Humphreys will give a reading from her new book, Coventry, at this year's IFOA. Prior to Helen reading, Nightwood will perform an excerpt from Wild Dogs.

Nightwood Theatre is located at 55 Mill Street in the Case Goods Warehouse in Toronto, Canada. For more information please visit www.nightwoodtheatre.net
