Teatron Toronto Jewish Theatre presents the North American premiere of DECEIVED, the story of Jonathan Pollard by award-winning Israeli playwright Motti Lerner at the Toronto Centre for the Arts - Studio Theatre.
5040 Yonge St., Toronto
Nov. 9-20, 2011
From the pen of Motti Lerner, playwright of HARD LOVE, last season's sold-out success, comes a powerful drama taking a bold look at the role of one man in the cruel game of state powers. When an American Jew is caught transferring valuable information to Israel, issues of political corruption, love and the respective governments' own interests come to the fore. Based on the story of Jonathan Pollard, this play takes a second look at the events and the people involved in a unique dramatic style.
