Chockfull of comical anecdotes about a childhood spent dressing up and channeling Judy Garland, dramatic readings from his psychologist's notes, and a musical score that borrows from Broadway classics and the Judy Garland songbook, Mickey & Judy is about learning to accept who you are and following your dreams.
Mickey & Judy debuted at the Toronto Fringe Festival where it was named "Best of Fringe" (Broadway World Toronto, My Theatre Award, and Canadian Comedy Award nominations). The following year, the show toured to Edinburgh, London and New York City, along the way receiving five-star reviews, multiple award nominations (Broadway World New York, MTM: UK Awards), and the New York City Bistro Award for Outstanding Debut. Mickey & Judy has been named "Critic's Pick" by the Toronto Star, Time Out New York, NOW Magazine, SG Fringe Magazine, GT Magazine and FAB Magazine.
