In Search of Cruise follows long-time virgin turned sex-fiend, James Gangl, as he struggles to give his awkward teenage nephew the sex talk he never asked for and will never forget. In this true story, Gangl recounts all the mistakes he should have made during four years of high school but instead made at the age of 28 during a four-month cruise contract doing sketch comedy for The Second City aboard the Norwegian Dawn.

Gangl digs into his religious upbringing, his early exposure to sex, and his own laughable sexual miseducation, to make a jarring case for a more honest discourse about intercourse.

In Search of Cruise Control premiered at The Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival where it won Best of the Fest and is the follow-up to James Gangl's Canadian Comedy Award Winning Sex, Religion & Other Hang-ups. Teaming up once again with director Chris Gibbs, together they mine laughs from Gangl's worst personal tragedies.
