The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company has announced their 2010-11 season which is set to include Lenin's Embalmers, Zero Hour, To Life, and more.
Vern Thiessen's Lenin's Embalmers will be running October 30 - November 21 and will be directed by Geoffrey Brumlick. This dark comedy spins the tale of Boris Zbarsky and Vladimir Vorobiov, two scientists who were chosen by The Committee for Immortalization to embalm Vladimir Lenin after his death in 1924.
From March 26 - April 16,the HGJTC will present Zero's Hour, about the late Broadway star Zero Mostel. The production will feature direction by Piper Laurie, and will be folllowed by a May 13 - 29 run of To Life. The new revue by Avery Saltzman and Tim French features music of American Jewish musical theater.
