The Grove Theatre in downtown Upland announces open casting for FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE/ WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF by Ntozake Shange.

We are looking for women of color from the African Diaspora - (African American, Caribbean, Latin, African or mixed).

There are seven female roles - ages 21 - 40.

The auditions will be held at the Madelyn Clark Studio, 10852 Burbank Blvd. 91601 on December 4th-from 11 am to 3pm. Call backs and auditions for anyone who didn't make the 4th will be held on the 6th from 6pm-9pm. Sides will be supplied.

The show opens Feb.4th, and runs on weekends through Feb 20th at The Grove Theatre, 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland.

* Bring a headshot and bio
* Be prepared to do a 1 -2 min monologue
* Prepare an a cappella song - 32 bars
* Be prepared to learn a dance routine
