AudienceView Ticketing, a leading provider of ticketing services to international organizations, announced today that it has been selected by Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) as its ticketing technology provider. The London, England based organization will utilize the AudienceView product to manage its ticketing operations across all of its 39 UK venues. The full roster of ATG venues represents around 400,000 seats ticketed per week.

Co-founded by Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire in 1992, the Ambassador Theatre Group is the largest owner/operator of theatres in the UK, an internationally recognised theatre producer and a leader in theatre ticketing services.

ATG's West End theatres include historic buildings such as the Apollo Victoria, Comedy, Lyceum, Savoy and Trafalgar Studios. ATG's regional venue portfolio covers cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol and Milton Keynes.

Current and recent ATG co-productions in London and internationally include Monty Python's Spamalot, The Misanthrope starring Damian Lewis and Keira Knightley; West Side Story, Guys and Dolls starring Ewan McGregor, Exit the King starring Geoffrey Rush and Susan Sarandon and The Rocky Horror Show. ATG is expanding globally with productions in the USA, Australia and across Europe.

AudienceView Ticketing was selected by ATG based on its functionally rich product, advanced managed services offering, and market vision. "Our extensive research over the past 18 months has led us to this decision to partner with AudienceView," noted Helen Brownlee, Head of Sales for ATG. "Our requirements, although not necessarily all unique, are complex. This, combined with our ticket volumes, will require special consideration." The AudienceView managed service solution will be deployed in the UK, utilizing AudienceView's ‘cloud computing' engineered infrastructure for performance and high availability.

ATG's progressive business plans were a significant consideration in the due diligence process. "It was clear that we couldn't simply look at the present state of the ticketing market as a guide to our ticketing requirements," commented Helen Enright, Finance & Commercial Director for ATG. "We needed to look much further out. AudienceView showcased their vision of the market and were able to highlight the importance of distribution and the flexibility of multiple channels, including online social networks. In essence, we needed some future proofing." AudienceView is a white-labeled solution, providing clients with complete control over brand, revenue streams and distribution of product.

"We are naturally incredibly excited to have been chosen by ATG as their partner for ticketing services," said Kevin Kimsa, CEO of AudienceView Ticketing. "The ATG procurement process was very professionally managed, not the least of which, ensures the foundation for a solid partnership on a go forward basis. We look forward to the challenge of meeting and exceeding the expectations of ATG, and in the process, to significantly extend our UK footprint for the betterment of all our customers, internationally."
