PATHS is an immersive environment of design, movement, sound and video. Enter a real maze and navigate the twists and turns experiencing surprise performances and interactive movement vignettes around every corner. Wander through a world inspired by the four elements and our environmental footprint on the earth in a choose-your-own-adventure style.

PATHS features the work of notable choreographer Aria Evans who has wowed SummerWorks and Fringe audiences and critics in years past. Performers Jasmyn Fyffe, Ana Groppler, Pulga Muchochoma, Mateo Galindo Torres and Kathia Wittenborn each take on the roll of a different element and bring it to life in the 3-dimensional maze.

Conceived by Aria Evans, designed by Aria Evans and Jesse Wabegijig, with mask work by Jesse Wabegijig, PATHS is experimental, timely and relevant. Aria's work at the 2015 SummerWorks Performance Festival (Desiccated) was applauded for 'its powerful message and flawless execution...(an) all-time favourite SummerWorks dance production." (Mooney on Theatre).

Aria Evans leads this incredibly diverse team of world-class artists, drawing on her training in dance and film and her experiences as a woman of mixed race (Mi'kmaq/African/settler heritage) she captures meaningful social and cultural themes through her work. The production team for PATHS includes Jesse Dell as outside eye, Michael Murray as design consultant and A.J. Morra as lighting designer and stage manager.
