Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on June 4.

Bobby Steggert Wins Loudon 'Starbaby' Prize for RAGTIME & YANK, Presented 6/8

Lionel Larner, Executive Director of The Dorothy Loudon Foundation, has announced that the 2009-2010 recipient of its Dorothy Loudon Starbaby Award for a Broadway or Off-Broadway performance will go to Bobby Steggert for his outstanding performances, as it turns out both on Broadway and Off-Broadway, in Ragtime and Yank! The award will be presented at this year's 66th Annual Theatre World Awards (in an invitation-only ceremony) at New World Stages on Tuesday, June 8.

Kicking off their 2010 season, Drury Lane Oakbrook, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace, IL, will close their epic production of the nostalgic and powerful portrait of life in turn of the century America, RAGTIME on May 23rd. The production is directed and choreographed by Rachel Rockwell, who received a Jeff Award nomination for her direction of last season's smash hit Miss Saigon. EXCLUSIVE: Santo Loquasto Comments on RAGTIME Tony-Nomination Controversy

Yesterday, BWW interviewer Pat Cerasaro conducted an InDepth InterView with legendary Tony-winning set and costume designer Santo Loquasto which will be featured on BWW in the coming weeks, as well as his input on a feature article detailing the Grand Design of twelve-time Tony-nominated revival of FENCES which is currently playing. The following is his courteous and diplomatic response to being nominated for a Tony for his work on this season's revival of RAGTIME only to subsequently have the nomination removed on the basis that the Tony committee now feels his work is ineligible due to having created the costumes for the original production of the show and any new work done for the revival being largely a recreation.

Drama Desk Follows Tonys; Removes RAGTIME Nods for Costumes & Orchestrations

It was announced yesterday that the Tony Awards overseers (members of the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League) had decided to withdraw the nomination for Best Costume Design from Santo Loquasto for his work on Ragtime on the basis that he, along with his team, created similar designs for the original 1998 production. Now, the Drama Desk has followed suit. In a letter to voters and members,William Wolf, President and Barbara Siegel, Chairperson, The Nominating Committee write that

Northwestern Announces RAGTIME as 2011 Dolphin Show, 1/21

Northwestern University's Dolphin Show, America's largest student-produced musical, is proud to announce its 69th annual production, RAGTIME, by Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens, and Stephen Flaherty. This year's show, to be produced by School of Communication students Julie Boor and Lucas McMahon and directed by rising Communication senior Michael Holtzman, will open on January 21, 2011 in Cahn Auditorium on Northwestern's Evanston campus.

It has been quite a year for director/choreographer Marcia Milgrom Dodge, who was recently nominated for Tony Award for her direction of the Broadway revival of RAGTIME last fall. BWW Reviews: Oakbrook Terrace Produces a Wonderful, World-Class RAGTIME
