With the thundering applause of thousands of greater Sacramento children still reverberating in the Community Center Theater, the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera (SacPhil & Opera) announced today “Art Invasion 2015” -- 7 weeks of musical pop-up performances by SacPhil & Opera instrumental and choral musicians bringing music to every nook and cranny of Sacramento. The ten-concert, 2015-16 Resurrection Subscription Season -- which begins this June -- is anticipated to be announced the week of April 26.

The Sacramento Region Performing Arts Alliance, which operates the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera, has named Alice Sauro as Interim Executive Director. She was introduced to the Alliance's Board of Directors on January 30 at their winter retreat which had 100 percent attendance for the 7-hour conclave.
