NINA-hunters rejoice… The new Museum of Broadway in Times Square's inaugural special exhibition, “The American Theatre As Seen By Hirschfeld,” has been extended, by popular demand.

On Tuesday, February 28th at 10:00 AM The Museum of Broadway will be hosting a creative conversation in their studio space about the upcoming Broadway play, FAT HAM.

The Museum of Broadway will begin offering onsite educational workshops and resources for school group visitors.

On February 22nd, the Museum of Broadway will be presenting a free lecture from Resident Historian and Timeline Walls Curator Ben West, titled “Early Black Authors of the American Musical.”

On Wednesday, February 8 at 6pm at the Museum of Broadway, Caseen Gaines will be joined by John McWhorter for a conversation about the lasting legacy of the the Shuffle Along.

The Museum of Broadway has partnered with Charity Buzz on a special package that includes a curated exclusive tour of the newly opened Museum of Broadway for four people, led by co-founder Julie Boardman, and a gift bag full of merchandise.  All proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Earlier today, the highly-anticipated, first ever permanent Museum dedicated to the storied history and legendary artistry of Broadway musicals, plays, and theatres, officially opened to the public. The Museum of Broadway just hosted its ribbon cutting ceremony and we have photos from the big day!

The Museum of Broadway officially opened yesterday, November 13, ahead of its official public opening tomorrow. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out photos from the red carpet event here!
