The Television Academy tonight presented the first of its two 2016 Creative Arts Emmy® Awards ceremonies for programs and individual achievements at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Currently starring on Broadway as 'The Wizard' in WICKED, Peter Scolari tonight won his first ever Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series Guest Actor, for playing Lena Dunham's dad on HBO's hit series GIRLS. And he wasn't even in contention on Emmy nomination day.
This morning, Anthony Anderson and Lauren Graham presented the nominations for the 68th EMMY AWARDS from the Wolf Theatre at the Academy's newly-opened Saban Media Center.
