BROADWAY FOR HARRIS announced weekly phone banks and multiple canvassing trips to Pennsylvania featuring Broadway talent, aiming to engage the community and support the Harris campaign.

Most Broadway shows have announced that they will not have performances that Tuesday. On election night, only Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Left on Tenth, McNeal, The Outsiders, The Roommate, and Suffs will hold performances.

The best of Broadway came together for the Broadway for Harris Community Launch Call- giving theater makers and fans an opportunity to learn more about how they can get involved in supporting the Harris-Walz campaign and other Democrats between now and the election. Randy Rainbow has returned with a new Funny Girl-inspired video, this time taking on J.D. Vance. The new video is set to the tune of “Sadie, Sadie” from Funny Girl, while joking about Donald Trump's running mate, J.D. Vance.

Shaina Taub, creator and star of Broadway’s Tony-winning Suffs, will host the Broadway for Harris Community Launch Call tonight, Monday, August 26 from 6:00-7:00pm ET. The call will take place over Zoom and is open to the public.

New York’s theater community is organizing to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. Broadway for Harris is a volunteer coalition of industry professionals and theater enthusiasts united to elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and down ballot Democratic candidates this November.

From August 18-26, Broadway’s two-time Tony Award winning musical Suffs will celebrate the 104th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, as well as Women’s Equality Day (August 26), through a series of activations in and outside of the Music Box Theatre. Comics for Kamala, a comedy event, will be held at The Den Theatre on August 20.

Barbra Streisand, Shaina Taub, and more have joined as speakers for the upcoming Jewish Women For Kamala call. The event is set to take place on Thursday, August 15th, 2024 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT.

The CAMPAIGN FOR KAMALA FUNDRAISING SHOW will be on Saturday, September 28, 4 PM at Don’t Tell Mama (343 W 46th St, NYC).

Actors' Equity Association has joined the rising chorus of unions in endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the next president of the United States and Governor Tim Walz as her vice president.

Darren Criss, Jinkx Monsoon, and more will take part in A Dance Party For Kamala, a fundraising event for Vice President and Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris. The event is set to take place tonight, Thursday, August 1, at 8pm at LGBTQ bar, The Abbey in West Hollywood, CA.
