Starting tonight, theatre lobbies across the country will be filled with casts, crew members and volunteers fundraising with iconic #redbuckets in hand, culminating in the 33rd Annual Easter Bonnet Competition (#BroadwayBonnets) on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23, 2019. The event is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Tickets are nearly sold out for Broadway Backwards, Broadway's annual gender-reversed celebration of the LGBTQ community, which returns this Monday, March 11, 2019.

In honor of Valentine's Day, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has released a new video from Broadway Backwards 2018! As part of the annual event that features gender-reversed versions of musical theatre numbers, Bryan Terrell Clark (Hamilton, Motown the Musical) and Michael McElroy (Sunday in the Park with George, The Who's Tommy) took on 'What About Love,' from The Color Purple. The emotional first-act finale is typically sung by the characters of Celie and Shug Avery. 

Tony Award nominees and winners, iconic Broadway legends and beloved stars of stage and screen will come together to celebrate the LGBTQ community at this year's Broadway Backwards.

Six weeks of fundraising will culminate in an extravaganza of Broadway stars, extraordinary ensembles and one-of-a-kind performances at Red Bucket Follies at 4:30 pm on Monday, December 3, and at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 4. The show is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
