The third annual Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS benefit evening 'Salon: Six Degrees of Broadway Cares' took place on Monday, October 27th.

Two time Golden Globe Award nominee Chris Noth (Sex and the City), Bistro Award winner Tony DeSare and actress Traci Jai Edwards (Legally Blonde) have been added to the roster of talent for third annual Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS benefit evening 'Salon: Six Degrees of Broadway Cares' scheduled to take place Monday October 27th.

Last night Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, a benefit concert celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Elton John and Bernie Taupin's legendary double album held at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theater raised over $1,000,000 in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Friends in Deed

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, a benefit concert celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Elton John and Bernie Taupin's legendary double album, will be performed one night only, Monday, October 20, at 8pm, at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theater (214 West 42nd Street). Goodbye Yellow Brick Road will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Friends in Deed.

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport's current cast of Little Shop of Horrors has been invited to join the casts of the 2008 Broadway season on Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, (Volume 10). The recording is a two-disc set featuring 36 original and traditional holiday songs which is released during Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' (BC/EFA) annual six week 'Gypsy-of-the-Year' period. The 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition will also feature highlights from Volumes 1-9 of Carols for a Cure as well as the premiere of a new song by Elton John and other bonus tracks.

The 22nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction held yesterday Sunday, September 21, raised a grand total of $496,380 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA).
