According to a recent tweet by BCEFA, the 2010 GYPSY OF THE YEAR competition will take place December 6th and 7th. The venue for the event has not yet been announced.

On Monday, August 23, the national touring company of Wicked will host 'Our Wicked, Wicked Ways,' an evening of cabaret performances. Held at AXIS Nightclub, the event will feature performances from the company's cast and crew with the net proceeds benefitting BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS.

The 14th Annual Bus Trip to New York City for the Broadway Cares Flea Market (this is a non-profit trip) will take place Sunday September 26th, 2010. It will depart Baltimore at 7:15am, and return at approx 10pm. The cost is $55.00pp (this is a family-friendly trip - no smoking/alcohol).

On Monday, August 2, the National Touring Company of WICKED will host Witches' Night Off, an evening of adult cabaret performances featuring cast and crew members of the company. Net proceeds of the event will benefit the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. The performance will be the cast's gift to ARCW, which this year is marking its 25th anniversary in the fight against AIDS. ARCW is home to the ARCW Medical Center, Wisconsin's largest provider of HIV medical, dental and mental health care.

As part of a comprehensive partnership with The Tony Awards, Audemars Piguet has initiated a philanthropic effort through the brand's 'The Time to Give Foundation' to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Following the highly successful 'Time to Give' celebrity watch charity auction hosted last month, the program has raised $1.3m to date.
