MTV veterans Jesse Ignjatovic and Evan Prager will soon take on producing duties for the upcoming 12th season of FOX's AMERICAN IDOL.

As BWW previously reported, in talks to join AMERICAN IDOL's new judging panel are Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and returning Idol judge Jennifer Lopez. The Hollywood Reporter now confirms that negotiations are almost complete for Lopez, with a deal 'expected to be signed any day now'. will.i.am's attachment to the show is still uncertain.
