In this classic Faustian comedy, middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the charming but devious Mr. Applegate - also known as the Devil - for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. Joe soon realizes the true worth of the life (and wife) he's left behind, and with the help of a handy escape clause and a guilt-ridden temptress named Lola, he leads the hapless Washington Senators to victory and still makes it home to his wife in time for dinner. With songs such as the popular "Whatever Lola Wants," this fun-filled musical is sure to put a smile on your face!
