Jesus Sepulveda and fellow Latino comedians Jerry Garcia and Jose Sarduy bring the laughs to the Scherr Forum on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 7:30 pm.
The Undeportables Comedy Tour is all America, all Latino and all funny! The trio will share the stage for a night of humor touching on everything from immigration to the border wall.
Sepulveda is a rising Latino comedian in the Los Angeles comedy scene. In early 2015, he received a big break by becoming a top finalist on the NBC Diversity Showcase where they selected 8 standup comedians out of a thousand countrywide. Sepulveda was able to show off his storytelling, likeability, and energy all through his performance on stage. In June of 2017, he was featured in Chingo Bling's "They Can't Deport Us All" Special on Netflix, and was also on the HBO Latino show called "Entre Nos"
Early 2016 Garcia was named Best Comedian in the San Diego Comedy Festival Contest, marking his first comedy contest win in a festival. A few weeks later, he won his second comedy competition in as many tries as he took home LA's Funniest Comic Contest Headliner Division Championship. He has been featured on various television shows such as LAUGHS, BiteSizeTV, and Stand-Up and Deliver. He was co-host to the "Jeff Garcia Podcast Show" one of the most successful Latino Comedy Podcast on ITunes from 2011-2014. He is currently a featured member of the new Latin Comedy Jam Tour which he performs alongside comedians such as Paul Rodriguez, Johnny Sanchez and Steve Treviño.
Sarduy, a military veteran, started his comedy career in New York and Philadelphia, getting on stage anytime he wasn't serving. He's been seen in CNN, CBS, Fox, and Lifetime's "Coming Home" with his touring group, The GIs of Comedy, and on NUVO TV's "Comedy Unfiltered" with Anjelah Johnson. He was the co-host of NUVO TV's "Stand Up and Deliver" which aired three seasons, and he appeared on Fox TV's "Laughs" in 2015-2016 as both a performer and host.
