RITA is by far the most celebrated and successful singer in Israel. In 2008 she was voted number one female singer in a special countdown for Israel's 60th anniversary. Twenty-five years after her career began, RITA proves over and over-with crowded theatres and stadiums, and with multi-platinum albums-that she is by far the biggest female vocalist Israel has to offer.

RITA's unique voice has gained worldwide attention many times. Now her first American single -Love Has Begun? is penetrating the American music charts and conquering a respectable place in the top 40. RITA has won the New Music Weekly Awards as "Top 40 Breakthrough Artist for 2009"!!!

Moved by her passion to explore new ways to use her voice, RITA began working with classical ensembles and with acoustic versions of her music, revealing a new side of herself to her devoted audience. Her efforts led her to release her latest intimate album "Remazim" (produced by Israeli rock star Ivri Lider). The album has reached double Throughout her career RITA has sold over a million copies of her albums, has won dozens of awards acknowledging her contribution and talent, and was named the Best Female Performer and Singer of Israel.

During her 2010 U.S. tour, RITA and her six-piece band will entice audiences with favorite hits and new songs alike. Don't miss this opportunity to see a true Israeli The Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble will premiere a new piece called -Keshet HaYom?, (Keshet Today) an exhilarating, five-part performance inspired by-and set to-the music of Israel's most compelling and influential contemporary performing artists. Featuring songs by Rami Kleinstein, Shiri Maimon, David D'Or, Idan Raichel and Yehudit Ravitz, -Keshet HaYom? will tantalize audiences with a taste of contemporary Israeli culture at its finest. Keshet Chaim will also perform a recently- created work called -Shedemati?. The new choreography is created by the talented Kobi Rozenfeld from Israel under the Artistic Direction of Eytan Avisar. Joining them on the stage will be the pulsating percussionists known as the -Naked Rhythm Drummers?. Keshet Chaim, Hebrew for "Rainbow of Life," is dedicated to celebrating the inclusive spirit of Israeli culture and Judaism throughout the world by creating, developing and presenting original choreography that fuses contemporary Israeli dance with Jewish folk dance traditions from across the Diaspora. Influenced by the multi-ethnic roots of the Jewish movement, music, art, poetry and culture, the company combats prejudice and anti-Semitism through entertainment, community outreach, children's workshops, and dance education.

Naked Rhythm was born in Los Angeles in 2003 with a vision of breaking down borders and bringing the world together with cross-cultural music and dance. By seamlessly fusing exotic world music and percussion with contemporary electronic dance grooves, Naked Rhythm captivates Western audiences with the universal language of rhythm and sounds of the Middle East, India, Africa and South America. The result is an innovative and organic form of World Electronica that moves the heart as well as the hips. Keshet Chaim happily welcomes Naked Rhythm to this
collaboration.

RITA...Live in Concert! takes place on Sunday, March 21 at 7:00 pm at the Fred Kavli Theater at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. in Thousand Oaks, just off the 101 Freeway. Tickets range from $45 to $100.
