Live from Laurel Canyon celebrates the artists of Laurel Canyon (1965-1975) with music and stories at the Scherr Forum on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 7:30 pm.

Live from Laurel Canyon is a 90-minute journey through a very special time in American popular music. Celebrating the music of The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Carol King, James Taylor, the Mamas & the Papas, Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Brown and a host of other legendary talent.

Much more than a tribute act, it pays homage to the musical legacy of Laurel Canyon. A gathering of friends and the interpretation of classic songs with narrated stories from the special neighborhood and most important era in music; an era that defined a generation, and whose relevance transcended and influenced generations to come.

The show features some of the finest singer and most well versed musicians in the country. Singers and musicians whose take on these classic songs draw from the musical history of Laurel Canyon and its vast influence. Hear all your favorite songs for the first time!
