The Civic Arts Plaza (CAP) has announced the line-up for the 2014-2015 season.
The Civic Arts Plaza Foundation is the private, non-profit, in-house presenting division of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. CAP has a strong tradition of hosting great musicians and artists which will continue this year for the 20th anniversary celebration with an expanded array of music, comedy, dance and emerging artists.
The celebrity line-up includes names familiar to all music lovers: The Four Tops, Air Supply, The Tenors, Straight No Chaser, Jim Brickman and The Midtown Men.
Comedians coming to Thousand Oaks this year include Capitol Steps, Kathleen Madigan and Paula Poundstone.
Country musicians scheduled to appear are Sara Evans and Travis Tritt.
The singer/songwriter concerts include Mary Chapin Carpenter, Suzanne Vega and Rosanne Cash.
The exciting new emerging artists that will perform are Mary Lambert, Justin Young, Brooke White, Leftover Cuties, and Quattro.
Back by popular demand is the world famous dance company, Joffrey Ballet.
The season will officially open July 3 with Kenny Loggins performing at the Fred Kavli Theatre. Shows will be added all year long.
