PLOT SUMMARY:
This fast-paced, intriguing and warm-hearted comedy centers on Mark, a newbie to the realty world, who is trying to sell a dream house to a clutch of zany characters. Built with a lot of love and care (not to mention a room that many find "inspirational" and "calming"), this house is one hot item. "There is a pyramid concealed within the structure of the house. One room forms the pinnacle, creating a powerful concentration of life force and cosmic energy." And, wouldn't you know, all the hopeful buyers are out to find it! When the home's real story is finally revealed, what you surmised will not be the story at all - just when you thought you had it all figured out! Visit www.conejoplayers.org for more details.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Mark Spears - (30-50) Handsome, self-assured, has had his way most of his life. He's a top-notch real estate agent who is trying to sell the dream house of the century. Has an ongoing affair with Kelly, another r/e agent.
Karen Miles - (30-50) Real estate agent - "head honcho" - she's a formidable, in-control lady. She's the only one who sees the Dancer - wonder why??
Kelly - (30's) The owner of the dream home and appears to be browsing the house to see how it is being perceived and who wants to buy it. Business woman attire - which hides her great figure and sensual nature. She is very emotional and wants to keep her house.
Chrome - (20's) - Hip-hop star. Dressed in a shiny suit, sunglasses, headband and splashy gloves. Personality reflects new-found money attitude.
Alexander - (40's) - Elegant - well-dressed, slim & trim (á la Sidney Poitier) - brother of Chrome and acts as his agent/assistant - does his best to keep Chrome down to Earth.
Alicia - age open - the "plumber" and lady who lives across the street - she's gutsy, knowledgeable, knows about homebuilding - inside and out - may be a little bit country?? Or not. Maybe she's a classy lassie with a classy chassis, but hides it for some reason.
Joggers - Husband & wife - any age - he is shopping for home to please his wife so they can start a family and she is looking for the perfect home to start a family.
Bill & Martha - appear to be an elderly couple - he's a crusty, wary buyer for the ideal retirement home, she's enthusiastically searching for the perfect retirement home or are they scouting out the place to see what they can steal?
Tom - any age - another r/e agent who is very cocky and full of himself. He can do better than Mark on his best day - yeah, right.
Jean - any age - another r/e agent who has a terse and impatient nature.
Gwen & Glen - young preppie couple, complainers, snooty - if the sky is the most gorgeous blue in existence, they will say it is gray - together.
Young Man & Woman - punks & thieves - they invade any "open house" to see what they can steal & fence to buy whatever they want at the moment.
Charles & Robbie - a charming couple: Charles is older, Robbie is younger. They are devoted to each other and have found the house of their dreams. They LOVE the house completely - every inch, crevice and decoration and want it now!
Doug - middle-aged next door neighbor - dresses only in tropical attire - the perpetual vision of the aging surfer (formerly the Big Kahuna - yeah, in his dreams.)
Arnie Shaver - older, skinny rocker - could be Angela's dad from "BONES" or Jerry Garcia, back from the Dead - wears Grateful Dead t-shirt (yep, he really does). He knows all about the history of the house and has a letter to prove it. Who is he, actually???
Dancer - a ballerina who "lives" in the house - always.
