ALL SHOOK UP To Open At Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center

Studio C Performing Arts is proud to present All Shook UP for a special limited engagement at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley from October 27 - November 5, 2017. Performances are at 8 pm Thursday through Saturday, 2 pm on Sunday and at 2 & 8 pm on Saturday, November 4th. Take the timeless songs of Elvis Presley, combine them with the "girl posing as a boy to be close to the boy she loves" plot of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, add some hip-swiveling swagger and get 'em All Shook Up. The result is this hit Broadway show about a '50s-era guitar-playing roustabout who rides into a small town and changes everything -- especially the life of a young girl with big dreams and a bigger crush. With a book by Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), this family friendly musical comedy rocks and rolls with such beloved hits like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," "Love Me Tender," and some 20 more all-time favorite Elvis tunes. ALL SHOOK UP is under the direction of Stage/TV/Film star Barry Pearl (Grease, Grease Live!, My Favorite Martian, Criminal Minds) with Keenon Hooks and Cassie Silva choreographing. Musical direction is by Luis Avila with Jeff Gibson leading the live band. Kristi Reed is producing ALL SHOOK UP for Studio C Performing Arts.

Leading the cast as Chad is Brent Ramirez with Natalie Vivino playing Natalie Haller and Scott Straus playing her father Jim Haller. Regan Carrington plays Sylvia with Andrew Allen as Dennis, Michelle Ann Owens as Miss Sandra, Farley Cadena as Mayor Matilda Hyde, and Paul Panico as Sheriff Earl. Zoe Reed and Michael Brian play young lovers Lorraine and Dean Hyde. Rounding out the cast are Augusto Guardado, Holland Noel, Michael Dumas, Joah Ditto, Amanda Meade-Tatum, Maya Galipeau, Natalie Espisito, Rianny Vasquez, Jamie McRae and Jessica Wallace.
